Shardeum, a next-generation autoscaling EVM-based Layer 1 blockchain, has officially launched its mainnet in Dubai, marking a major milestone in its journey toward widespread adoption. The launch is being carried out in collaboration with Bandit Network, a self-hosted, white-labeled Web3 marketing campaign infrastructure provider. The partnership is geared toward enhancing accessibility, scalability, and decentralization within the blockchain ecosystem.
The launch builds on the momentum generated during Shardeum’s four-phase Incentivized Testnet (ITN), known as Atomium, which saw notable levels of engagement and activity. According to the team, the testnet recorded over 60 million transactions and attracted more than 750,000 participants. These figures contributed to a peak transaction processing speed of over 1,000 transactions per minute (TPM), reflecting strong user interest and performance capability.
