The Binary Holdings (TBH) has partnered with Robi Axiata Limited, Bangladesh’s second-largest telecom operator, to introduce Web3-powered engagement solutions for over 40 million users. Facilitated through TBH’s local partner, Colorz Technology, this collaboration seeks to integrate gamification within Robi’s mobile ecosystem. The initiative will allow subscribers to earn rewards through various mobile activities, including content creation, data consumption, and network interactions. By leveraging blockchain-based incentives, the two companies aim to enhance user engagement while unlocking new revenue opportunities.

With digital adoption accelerating in Bangladesh, traditional user engagement models are undergoing a transformation. The integration of blockchain technology into Robi’s services introduces a reward-driven ecosystem where users can gain incentives for their daily mobile activities. By watching videos, sharing content, or optimizing data usage, subscribers will have new ways to interact with services while earning digital tokens.

A senior executive at TBH highlighted that the collaboration goes beyond offering rewards, as it seeks to redefine digital engagement. The incorporation of Web3 gamification introduces a novel layer of interaction, enabling users to receive tangible benefits from their mobile usage. The approach aligns with a broader trend of integrating blockchain technology into mainstream digital experiences to drive user retention and participation.

Boosting Revenue and Enhancing User Retention

Apart from increasing engagement, this initiative is expected to positively impact Robi’s Average Revenue Per User (ARPU). By fostering frequent interactions and deepening service engagement, Web3 gamification enhances monetization prospects while improving customer retention. A representative from Robi emphasized that the company continuously seeks innovative methods to enhance user experiences and provide additional value to subscribers. The partnership with TBH enables the telecom operator to explore blockchain-driven incentives that align with its digital growth strategy.

Industry experts have recognized this initiative as a significant milestone in Bangladesh’s digital landscape. A senior executive from Robi’s Esports and Gaming division acknowledged the breakthrough achieved by the team in implementing this Web3-powered gamification strategy, which sets new benchmarks for digital engagement in the country.

A New Digital Reward System for Subscribers

TBH’s Web3 infrastructure will introduce a robust reward system for Robi users, enabling:

Content Monetization: Users will have the opportunity to earn digital tokens ($BNRY) by sharing and engaging with mobile content.

Data-Based Incentives: Rewards will be distributed based on subscribers’ data consumption patterns.

Loyalty and Interaction Bonuses: Mobile engagement, including app usage and network interactions, will contribute to redeemable incentives.

These digital rewards can be utilized within Robi’s ecosystem, offering subscribers benefits such as discounted services, access to premium content, and exclusive perks. By integrating Web3-based incentives, the initiative ensures that users derive tangible value from their everyday mobile activities.

Despite the rapid digital transformation in Bangladesh, Web3 adoption remains in its early stages. The partnership between TBH and Robi seeks to bridge the gap between mainstream users and blockchain-powered applications. By embedding Web3 solutions into mobile interactions, this initiative aims to make digital incentives more accessible, thereby promoting wider blockchain adoption in one of Asia’s fastest-growing digital markets.

The collaboration will be showcased at MWC Barcelona 2025, where TBH and Robi will present how telecom operators can leverage Web3 to enhance engagement and drive revenue growth. This development positions Bangladesh as a key player in the adoption of blockchain-powered mobile services, marking a significant shift in the way telecom operators interact with their user base.
