Ripple, a prominent blockchain and crypto solutions firm, has announced a strategic partnership with global fintech incubator Tenity to introduce a dedicated accelerator for projects building on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). The initiative, shared through Ripple’s official X account, reflects the company’s growing commitment to fostering blockchain innovation in the Asia-Pacific region.
This latest development reinforces Singapore’s position as a leading global hub for blockchain advancements. In 2024 alone, the country secured an estimated USD 750 million in blockchain-related investments, accounting for approximately 60% of the total fintech investment in the nation. With over 300 blockchain and cryptocurrency firms operating within its borders, Singapore is fast becoming an incubator for technological breakthroughs with global implications.
XRPL Accelerator to Launch in September 2025
The new XRPL Accelerator is scheduled to launch in September 2025 and will be held twice a year. The program is open to early-stage startups as well as larger business teams exploring blockchain integration into their operations. The accelerator will primarily focus on areas such as real-world asset tokenization, institutional decentralized finance (DeFi), and the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) with blockchain technology.
The initiative is designed to empower participants to experiment with cutting-edge technologies while addressing real-world challenges. Through this structured platform, the program intends to modernize traditional sectors by offering innovative, scalable solutions.
Funding and Global Mentorship Without Equity Trade-Offs
Selected startups in the XRPL Accelerator program will receive up to USD 200,000 in non-equity funding. This means that participating teams will retain complete ownership of their intellectual property and innovations. Along with financial support, Ripple and Tenity will provide access to a global network of industry experts, investors, and strategic partners. This holistic support structure is intended to help startups navigate the early stages of development and expand their reach within the blockchain ecosystem.
The program also includes high-quality mentorship, ensuring that founders gain insights from leading professionals in blockchain, finance, and emerging technologies. The goal is to cultivate talent that can build viable, forward-looking solutions for the future of Web3.

Government officials in Singapore appear to echo this sentiment. Philbert Gomez, who leads Digital Industry Singapore, emphasized the country’s role in enabling responsible innovation. He believes that platforms like the XRPL Accelerator are instrumental in helping startups access tools, resources, and partnerships necessary to convert blockchain concepts into real, regulation-compliant solutions.
Long-Term Vision for Blockchain Innovation
This new initiative marks the continuation of a deeper collaboration between Ripple and Tenity. Jonas Thurig, Managing Partner at Tenity, characterized the XRPL Accelerator as more than a traditional startup program. He sees it as a launchpad for transformative ideas that have the potential to reshape finance, enhance accessibility to real-world assets, and explore the evolving synergy between AI and blockchain.
The Ripple-Tenity partnership illustrates a broader shift in the blockchain sector toward building practical, compliant, and globally scalable solutions. By investing in the infrastructure that supports innovation, both organizations aim to reduce barriers for entry into Web3 and foster an ecosystem where ambitious ideas can thrive.
